![]() So far all the plugins that strip survivors of everything seem as unbalanced as the vanilla versus mode.įor my part, I've been trying to find the best balance of SI tweaks in my config along with various plugins to provide an intense game where the survivors can rush if they want but can still be stopped by an organized attacked. So long as it's a fair and balanced game. Personally, I don't mind if the survivors make it to the saferoom. I don't even mind 1 defib in the safe room that forces the player to choose between defib or kit potentially leaving one kit behind. it's the kits every 100 yards throughout the map that's silly. I don't mind if the players have a starting kit. Never found where it is, and there's no way in hell I'm playing it again to find out.So there are never any kits in the game short of the occasional randomly spawned kit? You hear rescue music and I guess are just supposed to stumble into the right place. It's a huge area, and there's no car sounds, no helicopter, nothing. I don't know how I made it to rescue, but when it arrives, there's no indication of where to go. Bots at least will grab medkits (if you push them over them long enough), but won't refill ammo. I finally gave up hope for this campaign when I played through the finale. For above average frequency of specials and density of hordes, there is no reason the saferooms shouldn't be supplied. This isn't that bad by itself, since they function at about 75% most of the time, but then there's no medkits in any saferoom. Only way to make them stop is by bolting ahead and hoping they teleport. ![]() The bots glitch off a ladder in Map 2 and waste all the medkits. It is technically playable, but it will waste your time. No event highlights the start switch, even with the instructor turned on.Ībsolutely no direction in finale when rescue comesĪfter Map 1, suddenly there isn't enough direction to the path Overall: Avoid this campaign if you want to play a good campaign, if you're an enthusiast like me then I recommend it but it is severely lacking in a lot of areas.īots don't always pick things up, and when they do, you have to push them to the itemīots will incap/kill themselves off a ladder in Map 2 Bots fall off ladders and incap themselves ![]() Finale helicopter makes no sound, no highlight, doesn't move and displays no message on the screen, it just arrives suddenly and the player is expected to find it Confusing layout at most times, even with the odd directional arrow here and there Map 2's event is possible to avoid because you can just jump over the fence, ha Some maps have 2 tanks in them and 2 witches Finale environment is bland, and only 2 throwables that I could find on this map, whereas all the other maps are over stocked (?) Finale map is WAY TOO LONG to reach the radio, with an event before you even reach the radio as well. Some event switches don't have any highlights, making it near impossible to find A LOT of throwables, which are well needed however this gets a bit ridiculous in the later maps AVOID THIS CAMPAIGN IF YOU ARE AFTER A POLISHED CAMPAIGN PROS: NO MEDKITS IN SAFE ROOM, INVISIBLE WALLS.
